200.9
People have been asking me about the Ragnar, the 200.9 mile, 36 hour relay race I participated in recently. Here is the episode of TRS all about it, in case you missed it. Hope it inspires, or at least causes some smiles. :)
This week I read a few emails sent in to jeffcannata@gmail.com Thanks for all the feedback.
As we do every year on TRS, we started our Summer Movie Wager this week, where we try to predict the top ten grossing blockbusters of the Summer... in order! Scoring is based on how close to the correct position you place each movie. We also get 3 "dark horse" candidates, which get a point if they appear anywhere in the top ten.
Here is my official list:
1) Transformers: Dark of the Moon
2) Cars 2
3) Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides
4) Hangover 2
5) Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows pt 2
6) Super 8
7) Kung Fu Panda 2
8) Thor
9) Cowboys & Aliens
10) Fast Five
Dark Horses: Green Lantern, Captain America, X-Men: First Class
So, there you have it! Again, these aren't my favorite movies, or my most anitcipated movies, but rather the ones I think will make the most money. Play along, or tell me where I'm wrong in the comments below. And have a great summah!
Here is the episode where we throw down with Peter Sciretta from /Film:
This week, I discuss one of the things I'm embarrassed to love: Wrestling! I try to figure out what it is about professional wrestling that gives me so much shameful joy. Let me know what you think below, or share some of your own guilty pleasures with me at jeffcannata@gmail.com
I'm tired, can barely walk, and every muscle in my body aches, but I managed to put together a report on my experience running the 2011 LA Marathon. Hope you enjoy! As always, hope to see your comments below and at jeffcannata@gmail.com.
