Jeff Cannata stars in The 39 Steps opening Jan 24th!
So thrilled to invite you to one of the most fun, thrilling, hilarious shows I've ever been a part of!
Starting Friday, January 24th, I'll be onstage as Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps. The show opens at the Norris Center in Palos Verdes, and you can buy tickets here.
Then, on Feb 29th, the show moves to the Annenberg Theatre in Palm Springs for even more performances! Tickets on sale here.
So what is it? The 39 Steps is the protoypical Hitchcock thriller of an innocent man accused of murder, on the run from a group of spies and the police, all the while trying to unravel a dangerous conspiracy. It has action sequences, planes, trains, and automobiles, love and adventure, and a cast of hundreds... but, like an incredible, hilarious magic show, it is all done on stage with only 4 actors and a few props!
I have to say, I have done a lot of theatre in my time, but this may be the best show I've ever been a part of. The level of talent involved is so amazing - I feel incredibly lucky to work with these folks. I can guarantee you'll love it. It is a celebration of theatricalty and one of the wildest, silliest, most fun nights you'll ever have at the theatre. I hope you can come!

It sucks I won't be in L.A. to catch this, it sounds great. Wish there was a way to view it remotely.
I recently saw Danny Boyle's production of Frankenstein starring Benedict Cumberbatch in a movie theater streamed live from London. Obviously, not the ideal way to watch a play, but it was absolutely incredible.
Anyway, best of luck man!
Saw this show many years ago in New York and I loved it. It is a (very) fast-paced fun time, especially if you are a Hitchcock fan. Good luck.
Wish I could. Best of luck to you Jeff! (off to shovel snow)
Same cast at both locations?
Next NLB? When's it coming?
